Bill Colwell Ford recently donated a 2009 Chevrolet Traverse to the Automotive Technology program at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, IA. This donation makes Bill Colwell Ford the first dealership in the Cedar Valley to become a part of Hawkeye’s Key Partners program. The program builds relationships between local car dealerships and the college to provide vehicles for demonstration and teaching in the Automotive Technology program.

The Hudson chapter of the National Honor Society held a mini dance marathon fundraiser on February 1. This mini dance marathon supports the University of Northern Iowa Dance Marathon, which raises money for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital and the Children’s Miracle Network. Hudson’s dance marathon featured activities like dancing, board games, gym games, concessions, and raffles.
