Tire & Auto Center Maintenance Specialist/Technician

As a Maintenance Specialist/Technician at our brand new Quick Lane facility you will be responsible for performing factory recommended maintenance services, including multi-point inspections, fluid changes, and tire and brake services. You will be expected to operate at the facility in accordance with all company policies and procedures. It is critical that all your work is performed in a professional manner with the highest level of customer satisfaction. Excellent attention to detail and solid communication skills are a must for this position. You will play a crucial role in daily operations of the facility..

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform factory recommended maintenance services, including multi-point inspections, fluid changes, and tire and brake services on all makes and models.
  • Properly fill out all forms and inspection sheets, noting any concerns.
  • Communicate with Service Advisors on any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Ensure high quality service is provided to every customer.
  • Work in a quick and proficient manner to ensure work is accomplished and flows smoothly and continuously.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional working environment.
  • Generate pride and commitment within the Quick Lane that creates a team atmosphere both within the Quick Lane and across other departments.
Requirements:
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze and process information
  • Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work independently and effectively work with a team
  • Solid communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Experience/Education:
  • Minimum of high school degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience at Quick Lanes, Jiffy Lube, Firestone, Goodyear, Tuffy's or other independent maintenance facilities preferred.

Automotive Sales Representative

As a Bill Colwell Ford Sales Representative your main responsibility will be to sell vehicles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers; and then closing sales. You will be expected to operate in accordance with all company policies and processes. It is critical that all your work is performed in a professional manner with the highest level of customer satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must for this position.
 
Job Duties:
  • Understands vehicles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; and inspecting automobiles.
  • Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat business, referrals, and builds rapport.
  • Determine the needs of the customer by listening and asking questions, understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models.
  • Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
  • Ensure the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork.
  • Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobile.
  • Reports to the sales manager regarding objectives, reviews, analyses, and planned activities.
  • Attends training and sales meetings offered by the dealership and manufacturers.
  • Review sales statistics and goals to determine how to better utilize time, plan more effectively, and improve sales.
  • Generate pride and commitment throughout Bill Colwell Ford that creates a team atmosphere both with the Sales Department and across other departments.

  • $45,000 - $65,000 per year income with the potential to earn substantially more
