With the first all-electric member of the Mustang family, Ford harnessed the power of electrification to craft a vehicle that's as exciting to drive as its predecessors while also delivering a new, uniquely tailored experience. There will also be a Mach-E GT - targeting 0 to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds*, making it faster off the line than a Porsche Macan Turbo3 - and a GT Performance Edition, targeting 60 miles per hour in the mid-3-second range - comparable to a Porsche 911 GTS - as well as an estimated 342 Kw (459 horsepower) and 830 Nm (612 ft.-lbs.) of torque.**

Making its debut in the Mach-E is the next-generation SYNC communications and entertainment system, a sleek and modern interface that uses machine learning to quickly learn drivers' preferences and gets even better over time, thanks to advanced over-the-air updates. Next-generation SYNC's 15.5-inch screen and adaptive dash card interface ditches complicated menus, making it easier to access features with touch, swipe and pinch controls that every smartphone user will be comfortable with.
Mustang Mach-E will be available with standard and extended range battery options with either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive powered by permanent magnet motors. Equipped with an extended range battery and rear-wheel drive, Mach-E has a targeted EPA-estimated 300 miles of range.* And the connected navigation system also will identify up-to-date charging locations during trips and prompt owners to charge at the most convenient points on each drive - all to help ensure they don't have to be anxious about how much range they have.**
* Based on full charge. Actual range varies with conditions such as external elements, driving behaviors, vehicle maintenance, and lithium-ion battery age. Final EPA-estimated ratings available in the 2020 calendar.

3. What type of battery does the Mustang Mach-E have?
The Mustang Mach-E comes equipped with a state-of-the-art 68 kWh or 88 kWh usable capacity battery. These advanced batteries feature 288 lithium-ion cells in the standard-range version and 376 lithium-ion cells in the extended-range. The battery is located on the floor between the vehicle's two axles, and is secured inside a waterproof battery case surrounded by crash-absorption protection. They are liquid-cooled to optimize performance in extreme weather and to improve charging times.
4. What are my options when it comes to battery and drivetrain?
Mustang Mach-E will offer the customer two battery choices to meet their performance needs - Standard Range and Extended Range - both available with a RWD or AWD drivetrain.
5. Is AWD on an electric vehicle any different than on a gas powered vehicle?
AWD (eAWD) in an electric vehicle creates a unique opportunity. It's not just a drive system to improve traction. Mustang Mach-E AWD models use a primary electric motor on the rear axle and a secondary electric motor on the front axle to boost performance. Torque can be applied to either axle at any time, so both motors can work together to provide powerful acceleration.

All Ford Mustang Mach-Es come standard with the Ford Mobile Charger. This allows for the flexibility of charging your vehicle with a standard home outlet (120V), or charging faster using a 240V outlet that large appliances use. The 120V outlet is estimated to add an average range of 3 miles per charging hour, while the 240V adds an average of 21 miles per charging hour.3 4
